I'm a writer. I do many things, but writing is one of my favourites. I use my blog mainly to pontificate about a variety of topics that may or may not be interesting to anyone. I don't let that stop me.

If it looks like I haven't posted in a while, it doesn't mean I'm not writing. My writing will appear elsewhere. And if I'm not writing, I may also be out taking photos.

fusedlogic & Twitter support

It has been an insanely busy week so far. You ever have those weeks where you have barely any time to get the things done you need to get done? THAT has been my week. In between my meetings, shopping around for someone to install hardwood flooring and evening events, I managed to squeeze a...

Or, what should I be scared of today? Canada gets another minority government

Well, one more election in the books. I’m a political junkie, but I hope we don’t go through that exercise in futility again soon! Party politics aside, I think the most disappointing thing about the election was the abysmal voter turnout. Early estimates put it at 58 per cent. I think laziness and apathy are...

Marketing & communications: to cut or not to cut

Every business faces the question of what to cut during a recession, but should it be your marketing and communications budget? How will it affect your competitive position?

The Opening Salvo

On a professional basis, I plan to continue in Internet marketing in Edmonton. I will be doing search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click marketing, web content creation, web analytics, public relations (press releases, articles), media outreach and more. What form that will take has yet to be determined.
