I'm a writer. I do many things, but writing is one of my favourites. I use my blog mainly to pontificate about a variety of topics that may or may not be interesting to anyone. I don't let that stop me.

If it looks like I haven't posted in a while, it doesn't mean I'm not writing. My writing will appear elsewhere. And if I'm not writing, I may also be out taking photos.

Facebook: making money off social media

Facebook is making money via ads and other ways I'm sure. I hope they'll improve their ad quality, but I'm not banking on it. If you're thinking of doing online ads, think of the magazine model.

Twitter needs to make money and you could soon be charged for using Twitter. What form that will take, when and how much have yet to be answered.

Edmonton Twitter users gather for #TwilightYEG

Between two #twilightYEG events the Edmonton Twitter community was able to raise nearly $4,000 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
