Edmonton AM business panel: Alberta sales tax
The Alberta government is floating trial balloons about the possibility of a sales tax in Alberta. I don't know if there's ever been a riot in this province, but if they did that, there would be. The Alberta government does have revenue issues and a sales tax might solve them.

Dr. Riki Ott is a marine toxicologist who happened to be living in Cordova, Alaska when the Exxon Valdez spilled its load near there. This morning she was on CBC Sunday Edition. This interview is worth listening to.

I had a good laugh to start of my Saturday. I was reading about the meteor that streaked over Alberta and Saskatchewan on Thursday night. I totally missed it, by the way.
